Fourth Icon Class Ship for Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean Group has signed an agreement with Finnish shipbuilder Meyer Turku to order a fourth Icon Class ship for delivery to Royal Caribbean International in 2027. The agreement also includes options to build a fifth and sixth Icon Class ship.

The initial vessel of the Icon Class commenced its journey in January 2024, marking a groundbreaking vacation experience that seamlessly integrates the finest elements of various types of getaways, including beach retreats, resort escapes, and theme park adventures. The forthcoming addition to the fleet, Star of the Seas, will further elevate the level of innovation and extraordinary encounters. Anticipated to set sail in 2025, it will be followed by the third ship of the Icon Class, which is scheduled for launch in 2026 and is currently awaiting its official name.
