Four Seasons will take over the management of The Park Gstaad Hotel in Switzerland upon its reopening, which is currently undergoing significant renovations. The introduction of The Park Gstaad as a Four Seasons establishment presents an excellent opportunity to enhance Gstaad’s reputation as a globally recognized and picturesque alpine resort.
The Park Gstaad is situated in one of Europe’s most celebrated mountain destinations and was the first five-star hotel to open in Gstaad in 1910. The property, owned by philanthropist, investor, and sportswoman Dona Bertarelli, is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment spearheaded by Squircle Capital, with the esteemed interior designer Joseph Dirand at the helm. The hotel is expected to reopen as The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, in time for the winter season of 2026-2027.
