All Nippon Airways (ANA), together with its competitors Japan Airlines, Emirates, KLM, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Saudia, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and Xiamen Airlines, are now considered 2024 APEX World Class Airlines after receiving the 2024 APEX World Class Airline award.

APEX stands for the Airline Passenger Experience Association and was formed to rate airlines and present awards. Although it is a non-profit company, it’s a big business that helps airlines maintain their prestige and strive for excellence. Results become a major PR and marketing stand for airlines investing in obtaining a high status with APEX.

No US carrier is currently ranked in a Five-Star Airline rank or has won the APEX World Class Airline award.

ANA, or All Nippon Airlines, a Star Alliance airline from Japan, issued a press release proudly announcing it achieved its first 2024 APEX World Class award.

The APEX World Class status is determined by expert onboard audits and customer evaluations, recognizing the world’s highest-quality airlines in safety, security, well-being, sustainability, and service quality. ANA earned high marks for its safe and clean, in-flight environment, contributions to understanding a sustainable society, and high-quality customer service.

  • Clean and well-maintained cabin and restrooms
  • Providing beverages at appropriate times
  • Comfortable economy class seats with wide seat pitch
