Experience Turks and Caicos is delighted to announce the appointment of the Honorable Zhavargo Jolly as the new Minister of Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Hon. Jolly assumed his position in the Cabinet on February 12, 2025, following the General Elections held on February 7th, during which the Progressive National Party (PNP) achieved a significant victory.
As a seasoned entrepreneur, financial specialist, and committed public servant, Hon. Jolly brings extensive experience to his ministerial duties. Prior to his political career, he held the position of Managing Director at Turks and Caicos Islands Capital, a private investment and lending institution. His expertise in finance, business strategy, and economic development positions him well to foster sustainable growth within the nation’s tourism sector.
Hon. Jolly is an alumnus of the University of South Carolina, where he obtained a degree in Business, and subsequently earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. His leadership capabilities were further enhanced during his tenure with the Turks and Caicos Islands Marine Regiment, where he received the Governor’s Award for being the most outstanding recruit.
A staunch proponent of economic empowerment for the residents of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Hon. Jolly is dedicated to ensuring that the local population reaps the primary rewards from the flourishing tourism sector. His vision is closely aligned with the principles of inclusive growth championed by Experience Turks and Caicos, which aims to guarantee that all communities across the islands partake in the economic advantages offered by this industry.
