Tarco Aviation, an African airline, has appointed Euroairlines to oversee the distribution of its domestic and international routes after formalizing a partnership agreement. This collaboration will enable Tarco Aviation to tap into a vast network of travel agencies, online travel agencies (OTAs), aggregators, and consolidators across over 60 countries, facilitated by Euroairlines and its IATA Q4-291 designation.
Tarco Aviation presently provides flight services to significant locations in East Africa, including Uganda, Egypt, and South Sudan. Additionally, it operates various weekly routes from Port Sudan to prominent cities in the Persian Gulf, including Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Muscat, and Kuwait.
Established in Khartoum, Sudan, in 2009, the company was created to provide passengers with a variety of travel options tailored to their preferences. It offers scheduled flights, charter services, and aircraft leasing to other enterprises. Presently, it stands as one of the leading airlines in Sudan.
Antonio López-Lázaro, the Chief Executive Officer of Euroairlines, stated that the recent agreement will enhance the remarkable growth the Spanish firm has witnessed in recent years. “We are thrilled about this collaboration, as it will enable us to combine our efforts and broaden our reach within the African market,” López-Lázaro elaborated. Guillermo López-Lázaro, the Managing Director of Market, Channels & Cargo at Euroairlines, noted that this new partnership will facilitate the introduction of additional destinations. “The extensive network provided by Tarco from Port Sudan allows us to enhance our destination offerings while maintaining Euroairlines’ high-quality standards,” he added.
We are extremely pleased with this agreement. Tarco consistently views travel agents as key partners in our success, and this collaboration will enable us to connect with additional success partners, particularly in regions where we lack direct sales points. Furthermore, it will provide more passengers the opportunity to experience Sudanese hospitality on our flights, states Saad Babiker Ahmed, General Manager of Tarco Aviation.
