Estonia‘s tourism industry witnessed a notable resurgence in July, hosting over 481,000 tourists at accommodation establishments, marking a 1 percent year-on-year increase and an impressive 43 percent surge from June, as reported by Statistics Estonia.
Helga Laurmaa, a prominent analyst at Statistics Estonia, emphasized the pivotal role played by foreign tourists in the industry’s resurgence. In July alone, a substantial 242,000 foreign visitors chose Estonia as their destination, signaling a positive trend in international travel and reaffirming the country’s allure as a global tourist hotspot.
