D&H United, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company and leading provider of mission-critical installation, maintenance, testing and inspection services to fueling stations and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, today announced that it has acquired HCN Petroleum Equipment. With headquarters in Newland, N.C., HCN is an established provider of turnkey petroleum services and equipment.
This acquisition further reinforces the growing presence of D&H in the Southeast while supporting its nationwide service capabilities. HCN, a famous service provider in North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and South Carolina, should fit well into the impressive portfolio of D&H. The acquisition empowers D&H to support its customers by expanding an array of services through an installation of fuel system support, maintenance, compliance management, and repair services for its customers.
“We are very excited to welcome HCN Petroleum Equipment to the D&H United family,” said Tracy Long, D&H United CEO. “This acquisition further enhances our presence in the Southeast and represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy. We look forward to joining forces with the skilled HCN team, offering greater resources and capabilities to its customers, while maintaining the quality and excellent customer service that HCN is known for.”
The scope of D&H and HCN’s resources and expertise will enable both companies to provide top-shelf service in the Southeast. HCN’s reputation for customer satisfaction as well as a quality standard will complement D&H’s national standards to ensure consistent and reliable support for fueling stations and electric vehicle infrastructure.
In 1990, HCN Petroleum Equipment established a great reputation in the petroleum equipment industry by providing full-service offerings to their customers. “We’re excited to join D&H United and be a part of their continued growth,” said Chris Bohan. “D&H’s national platform, its strong reputation, and experience in the industry assure customers will benefit even more in this partnership.”
This is the sixth acquisition for D&H since the company began its partnership with Wind Point Partners in September 2022, as part of the company’s strategy to increase its North American footprint. Going forward, HCN Petroleum Equipment will continue to operate under its existing name as a D&H United company.
