I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport, the main international airport of Bali, Indonesia, has announced the enhancement of its flight offerings to Hong Kong, through incorporation of AirAsia flights into its existing schedule.
Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, the airport’s general manager, indicated that this route was previously serviced solely by Hong Kong Airlines in the morning and Cathay Pacific in the afternoon.
“The addition of flights operated by PT Indonesia AirAsia provides further options, with departures scheduled for 1:45 a.m. local time,” Syaugi announced today.
The airport has reported that the Hong Kong route demonstrates significant potential, boasting a seat occupancy rate of 80 percent and an on-time performance rate of 83 percent.

The new upgrades of Ngurah Rai have increased the popularity of Bali and made it one of the best airports in Asia and more known worldwide. The airport has category IX and is capable of serving wide-body aircraft including the Boeing 747-8 and Airbus A380.
