Each year, Belgium hosts a celebration that showcases music, culture, and the arts during the Brussels Jazz Festival.
Next year, the Brussels Jazz Festival is set to commemorate its 10th anniversary in January 2025. Renowned for its diverse array of both emerging and established artists from Belgium and beyond, the festival has firmly established itself as a key event in the European jazz landscape.
This anniversary edition will feature a varied line-up that includes avant-garde jazz, symphonic collaborations, and vibrant late-night performances. Once again, the Brussels Jazz Festival will serve as a premier gathering spot for jazz enthusiasts and music aficionados.
Notable performances will include jazz icons such as David Murray and Immanuel Wilkins, while artist in residence Bram De Looze is expected to provide remarkable musical experiences through three distinct projects. This year’s Jazz Meets Symphonic segment will showcase the Craig Taborn Quartet in collaboration with the Brussels Philharmonic. The concluding evening, curated by the esteemed London-based label Jazz re:freshed, is anticipated to be a lively celebration of emerging British talent.
