Beard Papa’s-a beloved international bakery chain featuring fresh, natural cream puffs-will be popping up in New York City’s Financial District. The retail store is scheduled to launch on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10 am at 29 John Street Space D.
Founded in Osaka, Japan, in 1999, Beard Papa’s has grown from a single bakery to over 485 locations in 15 countries. It is famous for its signature, airy cream puffs with just the right amount of sweetness, which has captivated fans worldwide.
Each cream puff is made to order, and shells come in a choice of originals, chocolate éclair, green tea, strawberry, honey butter, OREO® cookie crumble, dulce de leche, and ube, which can be paired with many premium cream custard filling options.
At Financial District, all of those mouthwatering cream puffs for which Beard Papa’s are known will be included plus plenty more on the diverse menu with crème brûlée, lava cake topped with fondant, savory desserts, seasonal specials, and beverages.
“Our cream puffs are baked fresh daily on-site and are among the largest you’ll find,” said Mark Nathan, Marketing Director. “Made with real vanilla bean, premium custard, and top-quality ingredients, Beard Papa’s isn’t just a dessert – it’s a memorable experience that keeps people coming back. We’re excited to open our third NYC location, catering to the growing love New Yorkers have for Japanese baked goods and our cream puffs.”
For the grand opening, the first 100 paying customers at the new John Street location will receive a free gift.
Beard Papa’s Financial District joins two other NYC locations at 11 St Marks Place and 239 E 53rd Street.
