BHA has been instrumental in the installation of a new trash barrier at a river located on Jl Pendawa Kekeran, Mengwi, Badung, thereby enhancing initiatives aimed at safeguarding Bali’s waterways.

Members of BHA, along with the BHA Head of Sustainability, participated in the launch of the installation alongside the Sungai Watch team. This strategically chosen site was identified due to the numerous open dumps situated downstream, which significantly contribute to the influx of plastic waste into Bali’s rivers and oceans.
