Azores Airlines, a division of the SATA Group, has entered into an interline ticketing agreement with the Spanish airline Euroairlines, enhancing its global presence and service offerings.
This collaboration will enable Azores Airlines to tap into the travel agency network, online travel agencies (OTAs), aggregators, and consolidators across more than 60 countries, utilizing the IATA code Q4-291 associated with Euroairlines.
Based in Ponta Delgada on São Miguel Island, Azores Airlines is a part of the SATA Group. It was established to improve accessibility to the nine-island Azores archipelago.
The Portuguese airline operates a fleet that includes Airbus A320ceo, A320neo, Airbus A321neo, and Airbus A321LR aircraft and provides air transport services for passengers, cargo, and mail. Currently, SATA Azores Airlines connects the Azores with eight countries across Africa, Europe, and North America, serving destinations such as Milan, Paris, New York, Boston, and Toronto, among others.
