Air Zimbabwe resumes Lusaka flights

eTN Correspondent Wolfgang Thome, while attending the Sanganai Tourism Expo in Harare, had the opportunity arise to speak with the Manager of Public Relations of Air Zimbabwe, Ms. Shingai Dhliwayo, to get information about the latest developments at the national carrier.

The airline will be resuming scheduled flights from Harare to Lusaka/Zambia, using a 60-seat, all economy MA60 turboprop aircraft as of next Monday, June 22. Additional traffic days will be Wednesdays and Fridays, and flying time was given as 75 minutes. The flight leaves Harare at 0600 hrs on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 1800 hrs on Fridays. Air Zimbabwe also confirmed a launch fare of US$230 return, inclusive of all taxes and regulatory fees.

Other domestic and regional destinations presently served are Bulawayo, Victoria Falls, Kariba, and Johannesburg.
