Air Canada Pilots Voted to go on Strike

Star Alliance member Air Canada may be unable to operate flights, once pilots start striking.98% of all Air Canada pilots voted in the Air Line Pilots Association for a strike today.

The issue is, that US pilots make more money, and negotiations started last summer were fruitless so far.

In the meantime, pilots agreed to continue working on avoiding a strike in continuing their negotiation. By regulation, there will be a 21-day cooling-off period before a strike can happen.
