JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), the firm chosen by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to construct and manage the new Terminal 6 (T6) at John F. Kennedy International Airport, along with Air Canada, the largest airline in Canada, has officially declared that Air Canada will commence operations from T6 upon its opening to passengers in 2026. This announcement positions Air Canada alongside other Star Alliance members, including Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and ANA, as airlines that will operate from the new terminal.
Terminal 6 plays a crucial role in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion initiative to transform JFK International Airport into a premier global gateway. This project includes the construction of two new terminals, the expansion and modernization of two existing terminals, the establishment of a new ground transportation center, and the development of a completely redesigned and streamlined roadway network.
