The funds will help support the global fight against hunger, particularly in countries facing severe food insecurity.
This year, the campaign’s timing was particularly critical, as FMSC’s packing facility in North Texas suffered significant damage due to storms. The closure of the facility meant that over 400 volunteers could not pack the essential meals, exacerbating the hunger crisis in vulnerable regions. In response, ACE employees in North Texas and Oklahoma made a $1,000 corporate donation to FMSC and volunteered to pack 15,768 MannaPack® meals, which contain vital nutrients such as vitamins, rice, vegetables, and protein for children in Liberia.
“We’re proud to continue supporting Feed My Starving Children, a cause that makes such a meaningful impact on the lives of children around the world,” said Adrian Ocegueda, Regional Vice President at ACE Cash Express. “Our customers are eager to know their efforts directly contribute to feeding children in need.”
FMSC meals are designed by food science and nutrition experts to address malnutrition and ensure children receive the necessary nutrients for growth and development. With each meal costing less than 30 cents, more than 90 percent of donations go directly toward providing food to children in need.
“FMSC is grateful for our continued partnership with ACE Cash Express,” said Hillary Coyle, Development Advisor at FMSC. “This year’s campaign was our most successful, and it’s heartwarming to see the impact these volunteers are making.”
Nationally, ACE’s 2024 “Give A Little Campaign” raised over $193,000 for a range of charitable organizations, including AdoptAClassroom.org, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Autism Speaks, and FMSC. This fundraising initiative is part of the ACE Community Fund, which has donated over $18 million to community organizations since its launch in 2004.
