Speaking Portuguese- a bond in travel and tourism. The Angola Secretary of State for Tourism Varo Caputo Wednesday in Luanda stressed the travel and tourism sector’ role in strengthening of mutual friendship and cooperation among the members of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP).
The State Secretary was speaking at the opening ceremony of the first “Workshop on CPLP Tourism”.
He said that with the holding of the meeting the community intends to promote an open dialogue on economic tourism potential that translated into real and viable project.
“The event, running under the theme” Business Opportunities in the tourism market of CPLP “, is suggestive and yields peace, political stability and economic-related ideas desired among peoples”, he said.
According to the official, in Angola the tourism is a factor of priority in the process of diversification of the national economy.
