In tweets received by a French press agency, the Ukraine and East Ukrainian separatist rebels agree to establish a security zone around the crash site of Malaysia Airlines flight #MH17.

Yesterday officials of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSZE) were turned away from the crash side at gun point by local rebels.

The opening of a security zone is urgently needed and had been demanded by world leaders and officials. According to witnesses evidence had been moved and the crash site was frequented by looters.

Now is daylight in the Ukraine, and it’s another very hot day.

So far local emergency workers, police, and volunteers had been combing through fields strewn with plane parts, luggage, and charred souvenirs. They have found 181 bodies at the crash site of MH 71, a Malaysian Airlines plane shot down over eastern Ukraine Thursday.

Details are not yet clear.
