During the past few days, there has been a very positive buzz about the Indian Ocean’s Vanilla Islands. The islands have been getting a good share of attention and are being regularly mentioned and quoted in diverse press classifications.

On minutebuzz.com, Seychelles, Mauritius, and Maldives are now part of the list of the top 10 dream destinations. Among the other destinations on the top 10 list are: Bali, Bora Bora, Dubai, Moorea and Raiatea Tahaa in French Polynesia, Saint Barthelemy, and Tahiti.

The Vanilla Islands is a fairly new and innovative concept regrouping the islands of Comoros, Maldives, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mayotte, Reunion, and Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, to promote their common historic past and their exotic locations as the perfect vacation destinations.

Reunion Island as part of the Vailla Island group has been classified as part of the most beautiful regions of France. The issue of national TV channel M6, The Most Beautiful Region of France, delivered its verdict: Reunion Island arrives at the third step of the podium behind Brittany and Corsica, which are respectively the second and first.

Each week, from May 22, the public discovered 24 regions of France in total through the most beautiful areas of France. The principle of the program is to provide an overview of each competing region, highlighting its architectural heritage, landscape and nature, as well as its local products. And Reunion Island wins the top of the podium in number of video views on the M6 site, surpassing 18,000 views with the video of the Reunion trailer!

More and more, the quality of these destinations and the potential that it represents as choice destinations for today’s travelers is being recognized. And more than ever, approved by a large majority of travelers, the islands of the Indian Ocean demonstrate that they are THE destinations to take a holiday! Each of the islands has its own uniqueness and allows tourists to discover a new world at each stop.
