United Express announces new Portland service

CHICAGO, IL (August 29, 2008) – United Airlines today announced new United Express service between Portland and both Klamath Falls, Oregon and North Bend, Oregon beginning October 12.

CHICAGO, IL (August 29, 2008) – United Airlines today announced new United Express service between Portland and both Klamath Falls, Oregon and North Bend, Oregon beginning October 12. The service is now open for sale.

“We are pleased to strengthen our commitment to the Pacific Northwest by adding these new services,” said David Jehn, United’s managing director – Network Planning. “We look forward to giving our customers in Oregon additional, convenient service to wherever their travels may take them.”

United Express regional partner SkyWest will operate the two daily round-trip flights with a 30-passenger Embraer 120 Brasilia aircraft.

“Air service is essential to the coast’s economic viability, and I’m very pleased that United Express is going to provide that vital service at North Bend,” said congressman Peter DeFazio.

Customers may find the guaranteed, lowest United fares for these flights on united.com.

The new service schedules, effective October 12, 2008, are as follows:

North Bend to Portland 6:00 a.m. 6:52 a.m.
North Bend to Portland 2:12 p.m. 3:04 p.m.

Portland to North Bend 7:12 a.m. 8:01 a.m.
Portland to North Bend 4:31 p.m. 5:20 p.m.

United also offers service between Portland and 11 other cities, including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington.
