VARNA, Bulgaria – Bulgaria’s Black Sea city of Varna began putting up tourist maps in English at bus stops on May 3 2014.

The maps, which also include a directory in Russian, highlight tourist attractions such as museums and other places of interest in the city.

The first maps were placed at a bus stop near Varna’s landmark cathedral and the rest will be put up in stages around the city and its adjoining beachside resorts. The project is being paid for from funds raised through the tourist tax.
