Airline passengers arriving in the UK faced disruption last night after an IT glitch resulted in extended queues at immigration desks.
Lengthy queues formed at airport terminals across the country because of a fault on UK Border Force computers that afternoon.
Extra staff were called in to reduce waiting times.
However, journeys from Southampton Airport were unaffected.
