WestJet launches daily non-stop Toronto-Phoenix service

CALGARY, Canada – Sun seekers and desert lovers rejoice. WestJet today announced new daily, non-stop service between Toronto and Phoenix beginning October 26, 2014. Same-day connections are also available to and from Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, and Moncton, New Brunswick.

Golfers, shoppers and cactus aficionados now have non-stop access to the non-stop sunshine that Phoenix enjoys for more than 85 per cent of the day.

“We are always looking for new and better ways to provide Canadians with in-demand destination choices,” said Chris Avery, WestJet’s Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. “After this winter of record storms and low temperatures, more Canadians than ever are looking for non-stop routes to sunny U.S. destinations like Phoenix to meet the demand for sunshine and tee times.”
