Swedish – Seychelles cooperation can only get better as a group of 80 confirm a trip to Seychelles in April

Minister Stefan Attefall, Sweden’s Minister for Public Administration and Housing & Minister of Health and Social Affairs met with Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture in UMEA in Sweden during a working visit by the Minister from the Seychelles.

Discussions that took place in the presence of Lennart Swenson, the Seychelles Honorary Consul in Sweden, centred on different topics and all related to continued cooperation. A planned visit in April by a group of 80 Members of the Swedish Business Community with their families was announced during one of the final meeting. The Seychelles Honorary Consul will be personally leading this delegation to Seychelles.

Minister St.Ange invited Minister Stefan Attefall of Sweden to personally visit the mid-ocean tropical islands of the Seychelles as snow was falling in the City of UMEA and as the landscape of the City that is now the Cultural Capital of Europe was covered with a thick white carpet of snow.

“We also have a white carpet in Seychelles, but ours is the white sandy beaches that is continuously lapped by warm turquoise blue seas” the Seychelles Minister said as he promised ‘unrivalled swimming’ to his Swedish Colleague.
