The Gambia Tourism Board invites you to its annual Food & Beverage Festival scheduled for 8th and 9th February, 2014. The event would be held at Green Mamba Gardens and JakarloBar & Restaurant, which can be accessed from the Senegambia Strip and from the football field of Kololi, almost opposite The Village Mall.
The Food & Beverage Festival is intended to be a 2-day fun fair providing families, friends, loved ones, and tourists the opportunity to socialize and experience the varied Gambian gastronomy along with the different international cuisine of the various restaurants in town. The Food & Beverage Festival will showcase various local dishes ranging from:
• Mbahal
• Benachin
• Fufu & Soup
• Lamb afra – off the grill
• Pork afra – off the grill
• Yassa kobo
• Yassa Nganar
• Ebbeh
• Nyambeh Nyebbeh
