London Technology Week to unite UK’s largest growth sector through events

LONDON, England – London Technology Week announced its initial event line-up with a call to the digital industry to sign up to take part in the capital’s inaugural tech showcase.

LONDON, England – London Technology Week announced its initial event line-up with a call to the digital industry to sign up to take part in the capital’s inaugural tech showcase.

London Technology Week is organised in association with London & Partners, the official promotional organisation for London, and is supported by Tech London Advocates, a private-sector led coalition of expert individuals from the tech sector and broader community. Together these organisations will drive London Technology Week in order to champion the capital as a global tech hub and to stimulate growth within the tech sector through the power of live events.

Tracy Halliwell, head of business tourism and major events at London & Partners, said: “London has established itself as a leading destination for tech events and this inaugural London Technology Week is the perfect forum to showcase the city’s digital credentials to the events industry. In a week of face-to-face events across the capital, London Technology Week will bring together tech enthusiasts in a multitude of different live formats which will showcase the wealth of tech collaboration and innovation happening across London.

Confirmed events include UBM Live’s Internet World (including Big Data Show and Interop London), Leisure Tech Expo which will take place in the O2, two events delivered by City University, The Founders Hive’s Viable Tech Demo, Croydon Tech City’s June meet-up, TV Triangle’s TV Meets Tech event and the Mobile & App Design Awards.
