The president of the Business Group Servisa SA, from the Ministry of Tourism of the island, Josรฉ Eugenio Martinez, told said that this is essential in order to achieve the sustainable progress and quality the country seeks.

When talking about cleaning we imagine a person doing the laundry or ironing. However, it is much more than that. This dynamic treatment involves concepts of treatment, stain removal techniques and resources less aggressive to humans as biodegradable detergents, he said.

He stressed that once the tourist gets anywhere he goes to a room prepared by qualified personnel. On that site must be all the required clean clothes and with the requirements that are expected, according to the characteristics of each hotel.

Thus, he added, it helps the client receives adequate service and all the features required by the standard he is paying. That is, logically, quality of service.

In addition to the concept of washing and ironing, stressed Martinez is also the leasing of lingerie, a modality which contributes significantly to the domestic industry, and today nearly 100 percent of the lingerie we use is produced in our industries.

In recent years environmental issues are integrated with special force in this wide world. Now we are talking about the use of new technologies in the development of this type of activity less aggressive to the environment.

The official said that investments developed in the section on industrial laundries and cleaning in general are aimed to support the development of tourism in Cuba.
