BENGALURU, India – Marriott International, Inc. expands its brand offering in Asia with the opening of its first Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Bengaluru, India. Known as an established leader in the moderate tier segment, the brand offers guests a productive stay with well-designed rooms and consistent and reliable service at an exceptional value.

Considered a growth engine for the company’s expansion in Asia with 12 hotels signed in India and additional properties signed in Nepal and Indonesia, Fairfield represents an excellent opportunity for Marriott International to move into new locations and markets.

Marriott international offers nearly 20 brands globally with eight in Asia Pacific. The addition of the Fairfield brand to this area enhances the company’s ability to meet the increasing demands for international moderate tier brands.

The Fairfield Bengaluru Rajajinager in South India opened today offering 148-rooms and Kava,a three-meal-a-day restaurant which will serve authentic Indian cuisine along with Western menu options, featuring both buffet and a la carte options. In addition the hotel has a functional lobby with a bar lounge and 24/7 Market for drinks and snacks; ample banquet and meeting room space with modern technology, a well-equipped business centre as well as a fitness center and a rooftop pool.
