Bangkok – Best Western International has announced the soft opening of Best Western Mayfair Suites, aimed at international travelers looking to explore Bangkok’s premier shopping complexes or hold meetings within its central business district. The “cozy” hotel with 49-rooms is now being rolled out to media as it prepares to welcome its first guests. The property will be launched at a semi-casual ceremony to be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

Each of the guest rooms enjoys similarly stunning cityscape views of Thailand’s capital. The hotel also features Millennio Café, serving high-quality Thai and international cuisine with lots of seafood, and The Bar, designed for relaxation over hot and cold drinks of every description.

Best Western vice president International Operations Asia, Glenn de Souza, said, “This contemporary boutique hotel is the newest addition to our Thailand portfolio. You can find it tucked away in an oasis of tranquility beside the best of Bangkok’s world-class array of shops, including Central World Plaza, Gaysorn Plaza and Siam Paragon, plus it’s only minutes from the skytrain.”

Best Western is the world’s largest hotel chain with approximately 4,000 hotels on six continents and over 120 hotels in Asia, including 12 properties in Thailand located in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh Samui, Pattaya and Phuket.
