Journalist Elyas Akhoun, editor in chief Jerome Dindar, journalist Marie Lesure-Vandamme, and singer Emilie Minatchy are now honorary ambassadors of the Island.

On Tuesday, September 24, Reunion Island appointed four new honorary ambassadors. Elyas Akhoun – who presents the 7:40 pm news on the channel France O and the news program Archipels; Jerome Dindar – editor in chief at TF1 for the program “90 minutes enquetesโ€™” Marie Lesure-Vandamme – who presents the program “Dieu m’est temoin” on the France O network; and Emilie Minatchy โ€“ singer; all undertook to respect the charter of honorary ambassador. In so doing, they each undertake to contribute, in a voluntary manner, towards improving the image and reputation of Reunion Island, around three key points:

– informing others about Reunion Island;
– making people love Reunion Island; and
– leading others to adopt Reunion Island as their own.

We can be sure that these new honorary ambassadors will certainly contribute towards improving the media portrayal of Reunion Island!
