Nearly 1,100 participants are expected to attend Skal’s 74th International World Congress, as it marks the first time in its history that the congress will take place on a cruise ship.

From September 28 to October 5 under the auspices of Skal International New York, the Carnival Glory will host Skal’s annual congress, which will include the General Assembly of Skal delegates, the Tourism Forum and B2B workshop, the presentation of the Skal Sustainable Development in Tourism Awards, and many more social and business functions.

The new Executive Committee of Skal International for the year 2013-2014 will also be elected during the General Assembly.

Skal’s vision is to “Be a Trusted Voice in Travel and Tourism,” and its mission is to enhance its vision, maximize networking opportunities, and develop a responsible tourism industry through leadership, professionalism, friendship, and working together.
