The New York Port Authority issued the following statement at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The New York Port Authority issued the following statement at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The statement reads: Preliminary investigation does not indicate shots were fired at JFK. There are no injuries. At this time no hun shells or other evidence of shots fired has been found. The terminal (8) was evacuated out of an abundance of caution. Airline travelers should contact their carriers.

There is substantial PAPD and NYPD presence at JFK and La Guardia airport. The investigation continues.”
