On Monday, August 1, passengers flying from Cologne, Germany, took off on flight 4U584, heading to Palma de Mallorca. Like in the 70 other Eurowings’ aircraft, passengers could benefit from a new Inflight Entertainment (IFE) system they can access to on their own device, enjoying movies, music, games and from now on, destination guides.

This fleet was the first in a long list to fly with PXCom exclusive
interactive destination guides, provided by ArrivalGuides, the world’s
largest distributor of digital destination content.

Passengers can now discover the activities and points of interest that will enlighten their journey at destination, through sections such as do & see, dining, shopping, beach life, accommodation, essential information and many more in different languages. The ArrivalGuides destination content covers close to 600 destinations and includes over 48,000 updated POIs as well as destination videos.

Tourism players from different cities operated by the airline throughout
Europe have already jumped on the opportunity to promote their activity
directly throughout ArrivalGuides destination network.

“Travelers can now access useful information on board in different
languages, planning their trip and start pre-booking. DMOs play the
important role here as they can promote their destination directly to
passengers on board throughout ArrivalGuides network. We offer DMOs the
unmatched opportunity to showcase their destination to millions of
travelers on a daily basis”, said Magnus Aideborn, CEO of ArrivalGuides.
