AEG Facilities to manage Puerto Rico Convention Center

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico โ€“ AEG Facilities is pleased to announce that it was awarded management for the Puerto Rico Convention Center (PRCC) effective August 1, 2016. To further facilitate a seamless transition, AEG Facilities has appointed Jorge Perez as General Manager of the PRCC.

Prior to accepting the position, Perez served as the Director of Finance at the PRCC for the last six years. Perez also possesses extensive hospitality experience having spent 10 years as Director of Administration for the Latin America Cafรฉ/Restaurant, and has government background having worked for 8 years as the Management and Budget Director for the Office of Government Ethics of Puerto Rico, an entity that received one of the only perfect audits in its history during his tenure there.

In his new role, Perez will oversee all overall management of the PRCC, including sales and marketing, operations, finance, food and beverage, and customer service, while implementing the strategic positioning and marketing plans for the facility in conjunction with the PRCCDA and Meet Puerto Rico.
