The Chinese county of Dabu tourist revenues have reached 450 million yuan (US$73.6 million) in the first half of this year, up 32.8 percent year-on-year, with 783,000 visitors, for an increase of 34.6 percent year-on-year, according to the Dabu government.
Dabu has four national historical and cultural sites — Xiyan Mountain Resort, Zhang Bishi Tourist Attraction, FuDa Ceramic Industry Tourism District, and Pingshan Terrace tourist area – and the county has worked hard to integrate the Wanfu Temple religious culture and Sanhe red tourism resources in recent years.
It is also integrating Tai An Lou (Square Stone Building) and West Lake Park, and improving support facilities in the Ruishan ecological area, with visitor centers, express hotels, round-the-mountain roads and parking lots, and is trying to develop rural tourism and tourist commodities.
