Today, such tours are in fact a real adventure for a group of 15 visitors and 2 guides trapped inside the cave due to flash flooding in Horse Cave, Kentucky. The guides are highly experienced according to local officials.

UPDATE: Emergency officials say all people trapped in the cave in Horse Cave, Kentucky, have been safely rescued.

The rising water is cutting off passages and access points, Hart County EMA director Kerry McDaniel told local TV station Wave 3 TV. Some people traveled inside the cave as far as four miles and emergency crews are working to find where the people are inside the system.
