Egypt Air crash: Bomb explosion onboard

Today, Egyptian forensic officials in Cairo say they had looked at human remains retrieved from Egypt Air Flight 804 that crashed in the Mediterranean off the coast of Egypt.

Experts in Egypt are now convinced an explosion onboard the plane triggered the fire alarm. This was most likely caused by a bomb onboard. Their original theory of a terror attack becomes, therefore, more likely.

As the A320 flew toward Alexandria, Egypt, from Paris, it exploded according to latest findings.

“There isn’t even a whole body part, like an arm or a head,” said the official who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity. “The logical explanation is that it was an explosion.”

The comments about the remains came as a French Naval ship arrived to the search area to help in the effort to recover the plane’s flight data and cockpit voice recorders or black boxes.
