Skal Asian Area President Robert Sohn is leading a campaign to attract more Skal members to the organization’s annual congress.

The 2016 congress takes place in Singapore on July 14-16 with a fascinating program of local and international speakers addressing issues, challenges and opportunities facing the region’s travel and tourism sectors.

The keynote address on Friday, July 15, will be made by Mr. Quek Choon Yang, Chief Technology Officer – Technology Transformation Group at the Singapore Tourism Board. Mr. Quek will address delegates on “Technology in Travel.”

Robert Sohn explained: “All Skal clubs in Asia that send seven or more delegates to the Singapore congress in July will receive a complimentary registration for the 2017 Congress in Bahrain. Fourteen or more delegates attending from one club in Singapore will receive two complimentary registrations for the 2017 Congress.”

He continued: “We need to raise our share our voice across the region on relevant issues. It is our role and responsibility to represent the interests of Skal members in Asia and I want to have the opportunity of meeting many more members at our annual congresses.”
