The Sichuan region of China, known for its giant pandas, is being marketed as the land of “more than Pandas.”
And to convince Indian tourists, a high-level team interacted in Delhi, India, today with officials and travel agents, so that arrivals from India increase to the region, which has many World Heritage sites and rare species of flora and fauna, diverse topography, history, and cuisine.
The Chinese Ambassador, Le Yucheng, visiting Executive Vice Governor, Sichuan, and Ming Song, Deputy Director General, Sichuan Tourism Administration, were among those present at a conference to boost tourism ties.
Like India, Sichuan, and its capital Chengdu, has lot to offer, both modern and traditional.
A pact was also formalized to see that work on tourism promotion continues.
