Tweets are talking about an assault on the the University of the East (UE) in Manila, Philippines. Witnesses are talking about people with masks attacking the campus.
UE Manila is burning to the ground as we speak. This is according to Gursharndeep Singh reporting from a local TV news station.
JournalismSociety just posted on its website a photo taken from the campus of the well known international university in Manila, Philippines. It shows a building in flames. More photos available show a fire now spreading to the Loyola entrance of UE Manila and out of control.

– Today UE Manila is on fire. Yesterday it was UP Faculty Center that was burned. Also Ateno Bomb threat and DLSU Assault days ago.
Just earlier this week Ateneo de Manila University campus in Quezon City was declared safe after a bomb threat in the morning forced students and employees to evacuate.
In an official Facebook post, the university announced at that time that a second sweep had been completed, and those who evacuated could already return to retrieve belongings they may have left behind.
Former student Martin Macalatan said on ABS-CBN News:
It breaks my heart to see my school, my beloved alma mater like this. UE Manila. The memories.
The university is home of many young students from countries around the world.
