WYSE Exchange Australia, the leading international youth and backpacker travel trade event, will bring the leaders and innovators shaping the future of the industry together next week in Sydney. International buyers will be flying to Sydney to meet and trade with Australian operators involved in the inbound youth and backpacker travel market.

David Chapman, Director General, WYSE Travel Confederation said: โ€œWYSE Travel Confederation is actively supporting the Australian market linked to our destination development strategy. WYSE Exchange Australia will bring international buyers from a range of markets to Sydney to raise the profile of businesses and innovative products and services targeted at young travelers. The World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation has been given significant support from the partnership with Destination NSW and further supported by the Backpacker Operators Association NSW (BOA NSW) to launch this inaugural eventโ€.

NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said the WYSE Exchange Australia will provide a valuable platform for the youth tourism industry to engage with international buyers.

โ€œGrowing the youth travel market is a key focus for the NSW Government and we are delighted to be supporting the WYSE Conference through our tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW. We look forward to welcoming international buyers to our world-class city and surrounding NSW regions next week, and showcasing our stunning beaches, fantastic food and wine scene and special events and festivals,โ€ Mr. Ayres said.

The WYSE Travel Confederation recognizes the opportunities that exist to grow key source markets to Australia, and to support the Australian industry with greater access to buyers from around the world. WYSE Exchange Australia is set to deliver new business leads and even better international relationships for some of Australiaโ€™s top youth, backpacker and adventure operators.
