Another Hawaiian airline sold

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Billionaire Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle Corp. and the owner of Hawaiian island of Lanai, is reportedly arranging a deal to acquire Hawaii-based go! airline.

HONOLULU, Hawaii – Billionaire Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle Corp. and the owner of Hawaiian island of Lanai, is reportedly arranging a deal to acquire Hawaii-based go! airline.

Ellison already owns Hawaiian inter-island carrier Island Air that he has purchased in February of 2013. According to recent report in Wall Street Journal, he was working on a deal to buy another airline.

Currently go! is owned and operated by the Phoenix-based Mesa Air Group based.

Ellison could not be reached for comment and go! parent Mesa Air Group would neither deny nor confirm the deal in progress.
