Global luxury tourism event not to be missed

Wellness has always been a trend, and two of the most exclusive spa resorts will not miss out at loop 2016: Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof, Germany, and COMO Shambala, Bali.

Nothing plays a greater role in the luxury hotel segment than the personal relationship between hotelier and purchaser. From April 10 to 13, 2016, Germany’s only luxury exhibition “loop – Luxury on our Planet” offers a business and networking platform for 100 exhibitors to introduce and sell their hotels to 100 premium buyers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to enhance their own network of contacts and learn about new trends in the market. Loop will take place for the third consecutive year.

Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof in Glücksburg, Germany

The 5-star Superior Vitalhotel Alter Meierhof with its picturesque location at the shores of the Flensburg Fjord overlooking the Danish coast is a modern, luxurious wellness oasis. Its philosophy is to guide the guests to their inner balance. Guests appreciate the big spa and beauty area of 1,400 square meters – so called Hof-Therme – with an infinity pool, gym, stone steam bath, hay aroma bath, solarium and tepidarium, Turkish Hammam and saunas. The Hof-Therme is reminiscent of the exotic world of Morocco and offers arcades, wooden decorations on the ceilings and lanterns which give the rooms a warm light. Untouched nature beaches, fresh air and the adjacent nature reserve slow down the guests in a very unique way. For culinary delights there is the well-known two-star Michelin gourmet restaurant “Meierei”. Regional products are freshly prepared in front of the guests’ eyes and complete the holistic wellness experience. The rooms at the hotel are all individually and elegantly decorated with antique furniture and oak flooring, partly furnished in Provençal style.

The translation of Shambala is “sacred place of bliss”. By experiencing the holistic wellness and regeneration programs guests will come closer to this sacred place. The COMO Shambala is a spiritual retreat and a health center, which includes several pools on several levels, luxurious villas and residences. To re-energize, guests will find a yoga pavilion, a pilates studio, a gym and various outdoor activities.
