Tourists flock to market festival in Delhi

The Jammu and Kashmir Food, Crafts and Culture festival opened in New Delhi, India, at the Dilli Haat, INA Market on March 1. It will run through March 15. This event is visited daily by thousands of locals and domestic and foreign tourists.

The festival is being billed as “see Jammu and Kashmir in a new light.”

The festival has brought together several artists and craft persons, as well as musicians, to Delhi for the event, which is both a sales and exhibition attraction.

Among the items on sale and display are the best of shawls, paper mache items, woollen clothes and dress material, apart from decorative goods.
