HONG KONG – Hong Kong’s annual international travel expo, which this year occupies some 160,000 square feet of space, will again be held at Halls 1A to 1E in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. It opens to trade on June 13 and 14, and to the public on June 15 and 16 with tickets available at the entrance.

The Expo draws from around 50 countries over 600 international exhibitors with 85% from abroad, and highlights also MICE and trendy travel themes such as Sport Tourism (new), Honeymooning & Overseas Wedding (HOW), Study Tour (ISTC), Travel Photography, Cruise, and Wellness & Medical Tourism (WMT).

Great Choices, Great Offers & Great Fun! Tourism boards, airlines, hotels, resorts, travel agents, media and attractions etc are among its exhibitors, and sport tourism like cycling in Taiwan, hiking in Switzerland, trekking and climbing in Nepal, skiing in Japan, diving and golfing in various destinations etc are featured.

Some 80 travel seminars and cultural performances by troupes from abroad will be held in the two public days. There is also auctioning of travel products, special offers by some exhibitors, free travel maps, attractive stands, and lucky draw with grand prizes of air ticket by Turkish Airlines.

The Expo holds in trade days Business Matching and seminars on MICE, themes, leisure and corporate travel etc, and June 14 is its MICE / Corporate Travel Day.

The Travel Expo offers a great variety of destinations, attractions, accommodations, travel products, service providers, performances and activities, all under one roof for meeting visitors’ current or future travel needs.
