INDIA (eTN) – In a unique initiative, and as part of efforts to reach out to all tourism stakeholders, India’s Pink auto drivers of Bhubaneshwar were the “target” of an orientation program in which they were made aware to how to be more tourist friendly.
Over 150 auto drivers took advantage of the day-long course, which was designed and organized by the Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management (IITTM), Bhubaneshwar, and sponsored by Odisha Tourism.
The IITTM has in the past held programs such as this to empower the different segments of the tourism industry, including guides, drivers, porters.
