Persian House is a sustainable heritage for the tourism industry. These are the words of the deputy director for tourism marketing and management at the Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft Organization of Iran, Ali Baqer Neโmati.
Exhibitors from Iran and 16 other countries will exhibit at the 9th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE 2016), which will be held from February 16 to 19 with the main theme of “Persian House.”
Among foreign exhibitors interested in tourists from Iran is Spain, Turkey, Vietnam, Italy, Sri Lanka, Turkey, France, South Korea and Azerbaijan.
Conferences on Halal tourism, health tourism and the role of food in tourism industry will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The exhibition will also host several workshops and meetings for Iranian and foreign exhibitors.
A delegation from Russiaโs Federal Agency for Tourism headed by the agencyโs director Oleg Safonov will attend the event and will hold some business-to-business meetings with Iranian tour guides and experts during the exhibition.
โThis edition of the exhibition hosts 414 tourism companies out of which, 44 are from foreign countries,โ the executive director of the exhibition Farhad Aminian told journalists in a press conference on Sunday.
The exhibition will be held at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
