Note on Turkish Airlines flight Houston-Istanbul triggered emergency landing in Shannon


Turkish Airlines TK34 to Istanbul was diverted on its flight from Houston, Texas, to Istanbul.

The plane landed safely in Shannon, Ireland, about one hour ago.
Emergency vehicles were on standby. All passengers had been evacuated and transported by bus to the Shannon Airport terminal.

Passenger were evacuated after a note was found threatening the plane had a bomb on board in the cargo section.

According to tweet the captain had specific information. The source was a checked bag by a passenger.
