Biman Bangladesh Airlines has ordered two Boeing 737-800 airplanes worth between $140 million and $158 million, according to Boeing.

The Bangladesh airline also has purchase rights for another pair of 737-800s.

In April, Biman Bangladesh Airlines ordered four Boeing 777-300 extended-range airplanes and four 787-8 planes in an order worth as much as $1.7 billion at list prices.

According to Chicago-based Boeing Co., the purchase of the planes represents the largest capital expenditure in the countryโ€™s history.
