“Our Half Board Plus concept is designed to enhance the adult-oriented experience of the resort,” said Chris Bailey, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Centara Hotels & Resorts, “We will attract mostly couples, singles traveling together, and small groups, and the concept, which is a cashless one, gives guests the opportunity to enjoy a good evening out together without worrying about the bill.”

Set on an island just over 15 minutes away from Male’ International Airport by speedboat, the resort is adult-focused with 140 villas located ocean-side or set above the lagoon.

Leisure facilities include the oceanfront Spa Cenvaree with its 9 treatment suites, a fitness center, a large free-form swimming pool with dedicated pool bar, an E-Zone with electronic games, and complimentary Wi-Fi access.

The resort lagoon is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the watersports center will arrange excursions and both motorized and non-motoriszed watersports including pedal boats, paddle boards, windsurfing, and snorkeling.

There is a PADI Dive centee that arranges tuition and visits to world-class dive sites nearby, including Giraavaru Cave, which is 10 minutes from the resort, and Lion’s Head, Kuda Haa, Kiki Reef, and Shar Point, all within 20 minutes.

Restaurants include Al Khaimah, which serves Arabic and Middle Eastern-style grilled dishes; La Brezza, which offers Italian cuisine with the emphasis on seafood; and Suan Bua, which serves authentic Thai cuisine.

Sightseeing and shopping at the capital island of Male’ is available via the resort’s scheduled speedboat services.

Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives is the second Centara resort hotel to open in the Maldives, and a third resort is currently under construction.
